Therapy that offers symptom-relief, healing, and post-traumatic growth.

Making time for yourself to reflect and process what is important for you in therapy offers the real benefits of experiencing greater self-trust and acceptance, increased coping skills, and more satisfying relationships. Learning to challenge self-defeating thoughts and cultivating self-compassion allows you to create the change you want in your life. Practices such as mindfulness, re-framing, and deeper inner work can help you get there.

Couples therapy can help you identify patterns in your relationship dynamics and what you can do to foster the connection you want. Let’s explore how you show up in relationships and consider new helpful tools and perspectives that support healthy communication and authentic connection.

Teenagers can get a lot out of having a trusted adult to share with about what is going on with them and the kinds of support they need to navigate major change and growth in this important phase of life. Having a non-judgmental, safe space to talk through things helps teens feel seen and understood, empowering them to develop greater responsibility and make healthy choices.
Therapy is a great opportunity to learn more about authentic, effective communication that can improve your relationships, including with yourself! Good therapy can help you cope better with challenges, resolve issues, and engage your strengths. Feeling heard by someone caring in a calm, judgment-free zone can really go a long way.

Therapy is not about someone telling you what you “should do”. Our conversations are about what matters for you and the changes you may want to make. I help people process their feelings, come to terms with what is within and without of their control, and connect with their strengths and inner wisdom to live more vibrant, fulfilling lives. We might talk about where you are now and where you have been to support you in creating a life that aligns with your values.
Clients tell me that therapy has helped them with anxiety and depression, emotion regulation, improved communication, and healthier relationships in their lives. This is about being able to share about yourself in a non-judgmental environment, be honest about what is important for you, and be supported in honoring your own experience. Sometimes people come to therapy to “fix” their problems, yet by learning to challenge self-defeating thoughts you can make some substantive change. Discover genuine healing and connection in therapy that allows for more self-love, acceptance, and trust.
Do people in your life say you are hard on yourself? Are you feeling anxious, depressed, stressed, or burnt out? Do you have a sense of fighting the current in your life? Therapy can be very helpful, giving people an opportunity to be heard and seen, cared for and respected. It’s a place we can work with anxiety, depression, relationships and learning to care for ourselves in new and exciting ways.
As your therapist, I validate and respect your experience while encouraging your alignment with your true core values. My approach is to listen, empathize, and give you tools that help you better handle challenges, manage stress and anxiety, and re-direct unhelpful patterns. We can work together to build on what is working well, empowering you to create the changes you want.

I received a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University and trained at Maple Counselling Center and Teen Line –
both renowned community-based service organizations. After a year-long associateship under the supervision of Dr. Leanne Miller, and an intensive study of Gabor Mate’s Compassionate Inquiry, I also incorporate learnings from Insight LA’s Mindful Self-Compassion course based on the work of Kristen Neff and Chris Germer into work with clients.
I have a background in the commercial arts and particular interest in depth psychology and somatic experience. As I received a bachelor’s of arts in philosophy from the University of Florida, I view therapy as experiential philosophy – a live practice of evolving and creating meaning in life. My work is psychodynamic, cognitive, and compassionately client-centered. I am currently seeing private practice clients virtually in California.
